The Rust Bucket, Oribi Museum, a non profit organization, collects, preserves and displays old stationary engines, antique farming equipment, machinery, tools, some classic cars, a motorcycle and even a rust bucket or two!
This private collection began as a passion shared by 3 friends. As their collection grew they forged a plan to build a museum to store and share their love for anything old and mechanical!
The museum was built on the border of the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve and shares facilities with the Paddock Polocrosse Club. Even for those not particularly interested in old machinery, its lovely surroundings make it a perfect venue for an enjoyable family outing.
